Newly Weds Kidding Under An Umbrella

08.29.2020 – Sasha and Christian: A Wonderful Summer Wedding

Without a doubt, Sacha and Christian’s wedding was a wedding to remember as they tied the knot last August 29, 2020. Their beautiful ceremony ended just before the rain came. Though it was summer, the weather was not too hot, just perfectly warm for a perfect occasion. Let’s take a trip down memory lane as we look back on this wonderful matrimonial at Iriswoods Weddings and Events venue:

Who said you can’t rock your bridal look with purple shoes? We loved Sasha’s purple suede lace-up heels. When it comes to choosing your wedding shoes, there are no rules!

The bride chose mauve and dusty rose which were so pretty. Her flowers included Amnesia, Ivory Vendela, Quicksand Roses, Ivory Astrantia, Pale Pink Hypercum Berries, White Majolica Spray roses, and Mauve Protea, with different textures of eucalyptus. These colors blended well with the mauve dress of the bridesmaids.

Here’s a snapshot of the bride and her bridesmaids in their floral robes. Just looking at this photo surely proves that they were having a lot of fun with a bottle of champagne popping!

This captured moment of the bride and the groom holding hands while praying and without seeing each other is such a sweet scene.

Under the shade of the canopy, they held their beautiful wedding ceremony. Here’s a photo of Sasha and Christian’s first kiss as husband and wife.

This was a lovely and cute photo of the couple who just got married and popped a bottle of champagne. The bridesmaids who were in mauve and dusty old shades of dresses and groomsmen who were in bow ties and suspenders were also happily cheering for them.

It was a warm day that day but not real hot just the perfect day. Though it rained after the ceremony, this did not stop the newlyweds to have fun. They took this opportunity to have sweet captured moments under an umbrella in the pathway in front of the dainty log cabin. After the shower, the rainwater came through the leaves and the trees glistened—a sight to behold for this enchanting event.

We can’t get enough of Sasha and Christian being fun and playful during their first slice of cake. They’re totally as sweet and cute as their 3-layered buttercream cake.

They had a lot of fun at their reception and ended the evening with their sparkler send-off. This scene made their wedding a cozy and stunning one. Thank you for choosing to celebrate with us, Sasha and Christian.

A pair of Jimmy Choo shoes will always be a great choice.

Going for metallic heels is all in all awesome.

The “Comfort-Is-Everything” Type

Wanting to wear some heels but your number one priority is comfort—well, fear not as you can totally choose anything flat. The common bride wears at least a little heel, but it’s perfectly fine to follow your preference. You’re the bride, it’s your wedding—you should be totally comfortable throughout the day until the after-party.

Who says you can’t wear comfortable and cute wedding shoes at the same time? This pair of cute loafers with a dog print is absolutely adorable.

6.12.20 – Taylor and Jon: An Intimate Summer Wedding

Jon and Taylor Wedding Shoot

Taylor and Jon’s celebration at Iriswoods Events and Venue is one of the most intimate and classiest weddings we had in our place. They had a beautiful romantic garden theme: a laid-back yet fun-filled occasion. The couple would cherish this once-in-a-lifetime moment forever. Undoubtedly, it’s a lovely summer matrimonial in 2020.

The details and choices for their wedding were simple yet graceful. For florals, they had white and blush roses and they went for silver dollar Eucalyptus and gunni Eucalyptus greenery. Invitations, the easel board with welcome signage, the unplugged ceremony, the displayed pictures, and the bar set-up gave some relaxed rustic feels.

We bet you would never doubt to agree that their reception theme was accurately the epitome of elegance. Don’t you just love the all-white interiors and those small elegant decorations they opted for? The festive white lights also made the ambiance more private, welcoming, and cozier.

Taylor’s gorgeous lace gown with the light blue dresses was enchanting. The pretty ladies in their good-looking dresses and captivating smiles blended well with the lush green background in the nuptial site.

The Iriswoods Weddings and Events venue was perfect in the sense that the bride and the father walked from the quaint log cabin to the ceremony under the canopy of trees and the breeze of air. Even if the wedding was held in summer, surely everyone felt cool as they were embraced by the gentle wind in the location.

Both the newlyweds and their guests had a great time – it was obvious in the chitchats, the dancing, and the bonding. Indeed, the wonderful beginning came to a memorable ending! It’s not only a day, but a night to reminisce. Thanks for the trust, Jon and Taylor.
